Gorgeous classic original 1955 Bel-Air sedan with only 93K total original miles on the odometer! Very rare Dusk Rose / India Ivory original color combination (GM Factory Paint/Trim Code # 685 / 549). This Classic '55 is in great shape structurally and mechanically - a rock solid rust-free car - all original sheet metal and undercarriage. frame. struts. braces - never been taken apart and always garaged. Original Blue-Flame straight-6 engine (235 ci) runs great and is original - never taken apart - runs strong and clean (no blue or white smoke). Two-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission is also mechanically original and in great shape - with all gaskets/seals on transmission having been recently replaced. I've owned this car for the past 30 years and have the original DMV registration receipts going back to the 1950s. Repainted in the original colors one time approximately 32 years ago - paint shows some patina and finish checking up close in some areas. but still has lots of shine and presents very well overall. Upholstery fabric was redone at that same time over the original seat cushioning and framework - in good shape also - interior fabric/vinyl shows some age but is solid with no rips and presents very well. Also. brightwork on the car inside and out is in great shape - front and rear bumper were previously re-chromed to a high standard. This 1955 Bel-Air has been extremely well maintained - over the past several years have installed the following:- new reproduction gas tank - new reproduction fuel sending unit and fuel line - new reproduction radiator - rebuilt original wiper vacuum motor - rebuilt heater core (heater works great) - new reproduction heater control levers and cables (very smooth operation on those levers for controlling vents and heater temp - like new) - new reproduction fresh air vent control cables under the dash (very smooth operation for opening and closing those vents) - rebuilt original Rochester carburetor - rebuilt original Delco master cylinder for brakes - rebuilt OEM fuel pump - rebuilt OEM water pump - reproduction 1955 dealer option chrome tailpipe extension- new reproduction weather-stripping rubber professionally installed around all doors- new reproduction fur channels professionally installed on each roll-up window on the car - reproduction radio speaker in original dash location with upgrade AM/FM cassette radio with custom faceplate to match original dash brightwork - professionally installed period-correct chrome-buckle lap seatbelts - reproduction 1955 Delco/GM hoses in engine compartment- original 1955 GM Flint Michigan factory chalk markings on firewall are still visible - indicating paint and trim code for this Bel-AirThis classic also includes recent Denman Classic IV wide whitewall tires and new chromed period-correct wheels.
