This auction is for a 1968 Chevy Belair wagon. It has a good running 283 V8 with a powerglide automatic transmission. It is a 6 passenger wagon with only 59k miles, power steering and power brakes. The original radiator was recored a few years ago. It runs and drives well. It has an PA Antique license plate and has been driven regularly throughout the summer. The gas tank was removed, cleaned, and sealed. It has a rebuilt Rochester 2 barrel carburetor, new spark plugs and new gas lines from fuel tank to carburetor. It has a solid frame and good body with mostly original paint. The body has scratches, dings, small dents and surface rust. It has good floors with one new floor pan on the front passenger side. The rear lower sections of the quarter panels have been replaced and painted to match the original paint on the rest of the car. It also has a new spare tire well that was made to exactly match the original one. The frame has been repaired behind the front wheels. It was a good quality repair with correct gauge metal welded in. All of the lights and gauges work. It has new rear shocks, rear wheel cylinders, brake hose and brake lines. The tires are "like new" and the single exhaust is good. It has all good glass and decent original interior with a ripped front seat and a couple of tears in the headliner. It needs carpet. This is a good "driver" quality car. It has a clean title in my name. I have owned the car for 17 years. A $500 deposit is due within 2 days and the balance is due in the form of cash or a cashier's check within a week of auction's end. This car is sold "as is". You are welcome to come and look at the car before bidding. On Jul-31-17 at 13:29:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Years ago, the original 327 was replaced with the 283 out of a 1966 Impala. The current powerglide transmission is the original transmission.
