Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10 Super Cheyanne |
This beautifully restored 1971 Super Cheyenne short bed is the recipient of complete frame off restoration. Not only is this a wonderful driving truck, but it's top notch cosmetics make it a wonderful truck to show as well. During the restoration, the truck was stripped down to bare metal and it was refinished in a very nice quality base/clear paint job. The paint has been wet sanded to remove the orange peel and buffed to a high quality finish. All of the glass is new, as is all of the rubber, stainless trim and chrome. The truck received all new rubber moldings from front to rear including all of the glass moldings, door seals and body bushings. The interior is completely restored in Super Cheyenne trim. The seat frame was stripped, restored, and was refoamed before receiving a houndstooth cover. The carpeting is new, as are the door panels, dash, and headliner The 350 engine sits in a very nicely restored and detailed engine compartment. Exhaust flows through a set of factory manifolds into a 2 inch aluminized exhaust. The motor is connected to a Turbo 400 transmission which in turn spin the 12 bolt rear end. The chassis was stripped down to bare metal and features rebuilt components including all of the suspension bushings and shocks. The truck is very smooth on the factory suspension and it comes to a quick stop with the front disc/rear drum and power master cylinder. Also making things easy is the factory power steering system. If you're a Chevy truck enthusiast looking for a truck detailed to the nines, this C10 is ready to rock. |
