1967 Camaro RS/SS tribute car. This Camaro started life as a base model, but 50 years later it's better than any model GM produced in the 60's. This is a solid rust free body, all panels are original GM. Everything works, handles like it's on rails and drives like a dream. The engine is a GM crate ZZ502 (GM part number 12496962). 502 cubic inch big block Chevy with aluminum heads that is factory rated at 502 horsepower and 560 ft/lbs of torque! Jet hot coated Hooker headers and 3" Flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is a Tremec TKO600 5 speed that is rated to 600 lbs of torque with a Hurst shifter. Out back is 12 bolt posi with 3.31 gears. Brand new 18' billet rally wheels, 18x9 in the rear with 275/40-18 and 18x8 in the front with 245/40-18 tires. 4 wheel disc brakes, the front are GM factory disc brakes with 4 piston calipers and the rears are from Master Power brakes with an 8" power booster. All the brake lines are stainless steel with braided stainless lines to the front calipers. All the front suspension was replaced with new parts, including and a fast ratio (12.7 to 1) steering box, coil springs, 1" sway bar all from Guldstrand Engineering which makes this Camaro drive and perform better anything produced in the muscle car era. The underside has been bead blasted and painted, the front sub frame was epoxy coated. Factory options added to the car include full RS package with working electric hide away lights, fold down rear seat, tilt column, deluxe interior and rear defroster, center console and restored factory AM/FM radio. The car has approximately 8,000 miles on the restoration and drive train. It starts every time, runs excellent, the clutch and transmission work flawlessly. Please note I am not representing this car as an original RS/SS, it's a tribute, clone, better than the original recreation or whatever you want to call it.
