1948 Chevy truck 3100
This 48 Chevy is a true survivor!!! It has original paint and as rust free as it gets!! The truck is true sleeper! The outside has a real old school look with new big and little Coker whitewalls steelies and spider caps! The truck even has the original wood in the bed in great shape! All new interior including carpet, headliner, seat and paint, also new 5" gauges and Lokar shifter wood steering wheel, the inside looks super nice and clean!! The drivetrain is a 5.3 and 4l60e automatic out of a 2003 Tahoe (was my personl suv) the previous owner had new motor and transmission and had around 40,000 miles on them, I drove it across country with no problems! Bought a new truck, so I used the drivetrain for the 48, the chassis has a 2001 Chevy s10 front clip installed into the original frame rails (nice and clean job on clip) so the truck has 4wheel disk brakes, new master cylinder and pedal assembly, the rearend has newer style leaf springs installed so the rearend sits centered in the wheel wells. The truck has stainless steel headers with 2.5" manderal bent exhaust with stainless mufflers all dualled off and sounds mean!!! All in all this is a super solid truck and looks great!! It's a fresh build, so it will turn heads wherever it goes!!! Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions, so everyone is happy!! Last thing we want is anyone unhappy!!!
Also with hurricane Irma some of the pics were the other day and engine has no harness in pics and misc. stuff but the truck is a runner driver, just have it stuffed in the garage, so it's hard to get pics today, and if the truck sustains any damage we will pull the listing before the end of auction!!
