Description of 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Chrome |
Clear title in hand. I am listing this car for a friend who loves cars, but it is not his forte'; home remodeling is. He bought it in June 2014 with 4983 miles on the odometer --which is shown on the title. Current mileage is 5093. Yes, 110 miles in 3 1/2 years. The actual mileage of the car is unknown. But the car is true to the ad to my knowledge. Anything that questionable, and any questions will be answered by him.If youleave your info, I will pass itdirectly tohim. It is not perfect, but it's damn niceandbuilt solid with name brand quality parts. It's a driver so goinganyplace will get attention. This carhas beenresiding in a garage insunnySan Diego, California since it's purchase back in June 2014. It runs great and hasmore hp than you will ever need (theoretically speaking....you can never have enough).Just over 5000 miles since project completion. Listed below are the basics; because being a full custom has more details of parts than can be listed. All parts were new at time of the build. The color is PPG Titanium Grey. There are purple ghost flames on the front, and are very subtle, and may not show very well in the pictures. You know this car wasn't cheap to build, but the reserve is substantially below what it would cost to build this car. I took 1 test drive in the car....we needed fuel. It's very cool, loud if you bury the pedal; and will roast the rear tires without any effort. The fuel cell is 15 gallons. Built 502 crate engine, Polished 871 BDS Blower, Roller Cam, GM Performance Aluminum 110cc heads, twin 900 cfm Holley Carbs, Full MSD Ignition System with 8.5mm wires, Hughes Turbo 400 Trans, Detroit Locker, 4 link, 373 gears, Borla Headers, 3" exhaust, 1 chamber Flowmaster that dumps out in front of the rear tires, Mickey Thompson 31x18x15 Corvette Rallys on the rear, 215/65/15 on the front, power windows, B&M custom aluminum shifter, power steering, drive shaft loop, trans cooler with an electric fan, shaved door handles with electronic remote opener, tinted windows, full custom interior, trunk mounted battery, quick hook up for charging the battery, Auto Meter Gauges with full custom aluminum dash, (Push button ignition, fuel pump, dash lights, fans, under hood lights), Be Cool 2 core radiator with dual fans, custom fiberglass cowl hood, billet door handles, Flaming River tilt steering column, Grant billet steering wheel, 3 point shoulder seat belts, steel braided fuel lines, 8" chrome brake booster, front disc brakes, Alpine stereo, The trunk lid is louvered and has been filled with lead to provide some reasonable measure of weight over the rear tires, and muchmore. If something is listed incorrectly, let me know so I can revise it asap. If you win, the owner will pick you up at the airport if you decide to fly in. I have been told the engine puts out 900hp at 6100rpm, and has 958ft. lbs torque. The owner is planning on taking the car to the local speed shop to have the car dyno tested and tuned. I told him false advertisement for those numbers is wrong without proving it. He has contacted the speed shop that built the car for documentation to back this up. I value my rating here on Ebay, so I am not trying to pass incorrect information about the car. Anonymous bidding box is checked. The car is also for sale locally; so if it is sold before this auction ends, the ad will be taken down. Happy bidding. On Oct-25-17 at 17:17:49 PDT, seller added the following information: A viewer emailed me to pass on that the VIN indicates this car was originally a 150 model with a6 cylinder. |
