Description of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 210 |
All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. There are plenty of Tri-5 Chevrolets out there. But there aren't many like this one. This 1955 is a high-end professional build with only 2,000 miles. It is absolutely loaded with nice stuff; big block power, 4-wheel discs, Vintage Air, leather interior, power steering and brakes, and so much more. You simply have to see this car. This frame-off project started with a rust-free 210 post model from the Oakland, CA plant. This was a very expensive, very comprehensive effort in which everything was replaced or reconditioned. The frame was back-halved and powder coated gloss black. The entire body received show quality paint; even the floor pans were cleared and polished. Note the smooth California style bumpers along with all new trim. The gorgeous Budnik wheels wear Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires (26x8 R18 front and 29x18 R20 rear). The engine is a brand new 468ci roller motor built for this car. It sounds fantastic and makes plenty of power, but still starts easily (even with a big Demon carburetor) and has good road manners. Be sure to check out the PRC polished aluminum radiator / condenser assembly with dual electric fans; it is both effective and beautiful. The transmission is a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed which delivers power to a narrowed Ford 8.8" rear with 3.73 gears and a limited slip differential. The suspension has all new components throughout. The rear has been converted to ladder bars along with adjustable QA1 coilovers. Other features include power rack and pinion steering rack and power 4-wheel disc brakes which are very effective. It all makes for a very nice ride, even with all the go-fast hardware. There is also a fuel cell mounted in the fully carpeted trunk. The interior was also professionally done. As with the rest of the car, everything is new; headliner, carpet, door panels, etc. The leather seats look amazing and have a great scent too. Note there is still a full rear seat, even with the wheel tubs. The dashboard was redone with white faced gauges and all new trim. There is also a tilt column and digital AM/FM/Aux stereo. The side mirrors have integrated turn signals. And of course there is the Vintage Air system!Obviously a ton of time and money went into this build. It was a true nut-and-bolt effort with new parts throughout; seals, window felts, glass, you name it. If you are really looking for a stand-out Tri-5 then you may have just found it. 1955 Chevrolet 210 Pro Touring - For Sale By Diverison Motors, LLC - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo] |
