Old Yellow #7, is a 1949 Chevy 3600 long bed pick up. It has a 216 6cyl with 4sp transmission. This old girl started her life out west on a cattle ranch. I don't know how long she was out there but I could still see the letters on the door in a certain light you could still make out the name but mostly the letters were gone, so I choose to repaint the name back on. This truck is mostly rust free, it has one small hole in floor (in pictures), and the cab corners could use some attention (in pictures). I will usually take a truck and turn it into something else but as nice as this truck was when I got it. I thought this one should go on to live the way it is and as good as it ran, I couldn't tear it apart. So I cleaned and detailed the interior and engine compartment just to make it as close as I could to the way it came off the assembly line. This old girl would make a great truck to have around to go in a parade or going out for ice cream, maybe even putting her back to work out on the ranch. This is a very good running truck, starts up and idles smooth. It has new tires, new seat, head liner, door panels, oak bed with new hardware, window trim fuzzies. All of the gauges and lights work and yes even the dome light. It has all new fluids through out. Glass is also good but for spot on the pass side door glass (in pictures).
