Here is a great old 55. The guy I bought it from acquired it with the intention of making it a street rod. After examining the car, he decided it was just to nice and original to mess with. She sat for many years in a garage then completely restored in the 80's. There is a large binder including a journal and many receipts of everything that was done to the car. This car was well loved. Everything was done to factory specs including original colors of India ivory and harvest gold per cowl tag numbers. The only upgrade was that dual exhaust was added. She has her original 265 engine witch runs excellent. No noises, not ticks, no knocks, no smoke, She starts up instantly with one pump of the gas. The automatic choke works perfectly. The car is tight on the road and also shifts perfectly. When you get inside the first thing you notice is the ticking of the clock. Everything is in working order. lights, horn, turn signals, wipers, etc. The only thing that has given up is the stock radio. As for the paint, it does have a few imperfections as seen in the pictures. There are three spots where the old paint has peeled from the metal on hood, trunk, and side skirt. I was going to touch them up but decide to leave them alone so anyone can see there is nothing to hide. She really does not need a complete paint job. There is no rust through the body. The only rust on the car is where the paint has peeled off, and this only on the surface. Underneath the car there is no rust or repairs to the floors, trunk, or frame. She is a solid car. The body is nice and straight with no dings or dents. The chrome and stainless are like new. All the glass is good with the exception of the passenger window witch has a crack. Interior is excellent. According to the journal entries in the logbook, there is only 13000 miles on this car, but I cannot confirm. It would not surprise me given the condition this car is in.If your looking for an honest 55 that hasn't been altered or modified, this is the one. Can deliver the car within 500 miles on my flatbed for a reasonable fee. $500 deposit required. Thank you. Video of car starting and running https://youtu.be/zDr7RCrWJ1Y
