Description of 1993 Chevrolet G20 Van Tan |
Up for sale our family Camper Van. A 1993 Chevy G20 with the Jayco camper package. Runs great, shifts like new. 17mpg hwy, 13-14 around town. Air needs re-charged, compressor has been changed out. Drivers electric window doesn't work occasionally. Road tires have appt 2k on them . Brakes were checked at that time and mechanic said they were in good condition. Very little if any oil consumption between changes. At least 90% of mileage are hwy. miles. Features one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on, Queen size. Plenty of under cabinet and bed storage. Very comfortable drivers andpassengers up front. Seat belts also located at the couch in the back - 3 I believe. Sink operates off electric pump and a fresh and waste water tank below. Micro and fridge work fine. As does VCR and TV. No Rust! Windows in back are sliders with screens. Forgot to add the fuel pump failed a couple of years ago and I had it replaced and in the process the fuelgauge on the dashboard no longer works (you have to keep track of your mileage). There is a breaker box and heater (stock) under the left couch and also the original jack, handle assembly, in it's orig. leather bag. I love this van and have keep up with maint., oil changes etc. but we don't use it enough in my judgement to keep it. Wanted to add It's great around town and easy to park. If we had a 2 day trip we would stop late at late at a rest stop, pull down the curtains and climb into bed (already made) and whenever we woke up we'd head out again. It really worked out nice for us. |
