Description of 1964 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II |
64 Chevy II. This is an extremely nice example of an early Chevy II Nova. 2 Door Post Sedan. 3 Owner Car. 2nd Owner Bought it in 1970. I bought in in 2012. Super Solid car. GM Crate motor. Hughes Turbo TH350 Transmission. It was originally a Straight 6 and Powerglide car. The second kept meticulous records of maintenance and even gas purchases. I have an entire book of receipts and records. Sales receipt from 1970. Original books and paperwork included. All new interior. New carpet, floor mats, and door panels. Original headliner and visors. Paint job is a 1980s Macco job, but holds a nice shine. Has dings and dents. This paint job is at least 35 years old. Has the last inspection from Colorado. I brought the car to PA in 2012. Was keeping a fairly stock look. But made it a much better driving experience. Everything under the car is new with less than 500 miles over the last 6 years or so. All new brakes. Engine, trans, motor mounts, multi-leaf springs, coils, shocks, ball joints, fuel pump, carb, intake, ceramic headers, Stainless exhaust, starter....etc. Everything new. Ask me any questions. Only selling because I have 2 of them. And I want to get the 2nd one on the road. Rockers, floors, door bottoms are perfect. No patch work. Not a show car, but nicer than most. fenders have the notorious spots above headlights. Water temp and oil pressure gauges added. My reserve is below what it would take for someone to build a car like this. Even if you can find a rust free car to start with and do all the work yourself. If you are on the East Coast, you won’t find a nicer body. I bought and transported the car from Colorado. License plate is not included. I'll make a walk around video, and take any pictures needed. Cover included. Garage kept and pampered car. On Mar-06-18 at 16:06:55 PST, seller added the following information: To clear up some questions. Clean and Clear PA Title in my name. Rally wheels are GM stamped. I think they came off a 67 Camaro, but yes they are GM. It is a 100 Series. The TH350 is attached to the factory column via a Lokar Shift linkage kit. Also Lokar Oil dipstick and Trans dipstick. The trunk, door jams, inner fenders...etc are all Original Paint. Trunk is Original splatter paint. Don't see that too often. You can also see Original paintin chips or scratches. It truly was a "Re-spray" it was never stripped down and restored. Exhaust is true dual stainless from custom muffler shop. Distributor is HEI. Motor mounts and trans are Energy suspension. Interior and carpet were done by upholstery shop. Exhaust is throaty, but not obnoxious loud. Factory drum brakes. Glass is all clear and believed to be factory. Windows up and down with ease. I have an entire binder of receipts, more than the reserve. On Mar-09-18 at 08:32:11 PST, seller added the following information: I do have the side molding trim and rocker trim. It is all in pretty nice shape as is the chrome and trim on the car. The side moldings run the length of the car, mid door, basically from the headlights to taillights. The rocker molding is just the length of the rocker under the doors. The original jack is included and pictured. It is dated 64. And yes the underside is all stock and original dry. There is nothing painted,or spray undercoating, paint....etc. Those are GM Corvette Valve covers to dress it up a bit. Headlights are HID and nice and bright. |
