Running, driving, project. I have been driving this car for about 5 years as a summer cruiser. I replaced the brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, radiator and heater hoses, shocks, wheel bearings, steering linkage, exhaust, alternator, drive shaft u-joints and center bearing and some wiring. It has a rebuilt 350 V8 of unknown mileage which starts and runs very nice even in North Dakota winter cold. It has stock style dual exhaust and an Edelbrock aluminum 4bbl intake and carb and a GM HEI distributor. The engine has been using about 1 qt of oil in about 1200 miles, at Interstate highway speeds around 75mph. The transmission is an original (1964) powerglide in good condition and shifts smoothly, and the original rear axle is a 3:08 ratio. The previous owner had the car painted and had a falling out with the painter who threw away most of the outside trim and interior trim and headliner. I found a complete set of interior trim mouldings and headliner bows (marked and labeled) that come with the car. The body work was less than perfect and redoing will be the new owner's preference and project. I found a nice rust free left front fender (with a dent on top) last year, which is included with the car. There is rust in the lower outer panels (pictures included) but the floors are pretty solid with some soft areas in the driver's floor pan. The lower braces are solid. The glass is good and I replaced the windshield and gasket just about 2 years ago. The carpet was replaced before I purchased the car and a set of vinyl pleated seat covers added, also. All in all, it's a nice family cruiser and running project, priced to sell. The actual mileage of this vehicle is unknown. Message me with any questions. Buyer to make shipping arrangements or local pick up is available. Impala biscayne super sport late great long roof.
