Description of 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

An excellent driving car, fast and smooth. Must sell due to family, kids and life! I have owned this classic since 2008 and I have kept it in the garage religiously. This car never sees the rain and definitely not the snow. I bought this car in as good as shape as it is now, so the previous owners kept good care of it as well. Its a 1972 Monte Carlo with a 402 Cubic Inch BIG BLOCK with headers and 3" 'Flow Master' true dual exhaust. 350 3speed automatic transmisson hooked up to a 12 bolt rear end. Power steering and power brakes with disc brakes up front. I just put in a new battery in the summer of '17 and I replaced the alternator and starter in '16. The rear main seal was recently replaced due to a slight oil leak I couldn't stand seeing on my garage floor. The original paint is in very nice condition except a small spot on the driverside rear fender. The roof is black vinyle and is also in great condition. The under carriage is solid and so is all of the metal. This car is RUST FREE!!! The black vinyl interior is in good shape, other than a seam is open in the stitching of the back seat. It can be seen in the photos. The carpet on the flooring is in top notch shape. The dash is "faux" wood grain, which was unique for 1972. Tires have plenty of tread on them and the aluminum rims are in good shape. The transmission is controlled by a floor shifter by "B&M". The owners before me put in a CD player and speakers. They were installed very neatly and professionally. The heater and defrost work, however, the fan motor will only operate on low. The A/C was removed from the car, probley because A/C robs horsepower!!!
