THE GOOD This is a mostly all original 67 Nova. It has had a little paint work and some touch-ups and maybe lower rear 1/4's years ago. Also has sub-frame connectors which isn't a bad idea on any of these uni-body cars equipped with some decent horsepower. All these things were done mid 1980's. It's equipped with the old tried and true 3782870 small journal 327 that were produced from 1962-1967. Engine is not numbers matching as far as I cantell and it has no stamp on the pad. However bnoth the 350 Turbo trans and the 10 bolt posi rear axle with 3:36 gears are. Trans is fresh with a mildshift kit and rear axle has been gone thru by C&W Gear Works. The engine is also freshly rebuild with a 350 horse cam, Torker intake, 670 dual line Holley, and original 350 horse 11:1 pistons, so yes it will need at least 91 octane but I always run 93. Also has a completely new Pypes 2-1/2" exhaust system with crossover and headers that do not leak. It is certainly no slouch in the performance area and I guarantee it will put a smile on your face. I have an old original title that shows 117,689 miles on 05-21-2010. It now has 129,189. These are the original miles and you will receive this titlewhen you win the auction. The color is DD Nantucket Blue. The trim code is 785 Blue Standard. Car was built first week of September 1966 in Warren MI. and was number 22off the line. This little car does everything just right and everything works including the wipers, heater, all lights and signals, the horn, am fm stereo, the speedometer, dash lights, etc. as well as the door locks and trunk with the original keys. It drives perfectly with little to no wind noise and stops greateven with (new) drum brakes. All the chrome and stainless is very nice and all windows are clear and perfect. (except marks on windshield) The interioris all original except for the carpet. The front and back seats have not been recovered. The dash pad, and door panels are original as well.
THE BAD???If there is any bad on a 51 year old non restored car as nice as this one..... The windshield has 2 wiper marks on the passenger side.....The headlinerhas a hole about the size of a silver dollar but I have a brand new one complete with sail panels included..... The arm rest on the drivers door needs recovered....The 205-70x15 front tires are like new while the huge 255-60x15 rear tires are probably 3/4 to 1/2 tread..... it has some scrapes and dings and I have pictures of it all ..... the worst is on the right front fender where it looks like some fool with a belt buckle worked on something under the hood....There are 2 very small bubbles on the lower front of the drivers door and one on the passenger door in the same area..... see pics.THE UGLYThere just isn't any........
