Description of 1972 Chevrolet Nova Custom |
| This Nova was built at the Los Angeles Plant and sold at a near by Chevy Dealer the third week of November 1971. It is totally rust free and fortunately no one took a can of spray paint to the bottom of the car. It is all natural colored. All of the options work and it drives and rides like a '72 Nova. I bought one new in the same Gulf Green. The paint is about 2 years old and it is not show perfect, but it looks great at five feet. The radio is a modern copy of the original and the extra amp creates music for every one at the Cruise In! It has the original engine but I have never checked the tranny or the ten bolt open rear end. I took the original 2 barrel off and installed a 600 cfm Holley with hi-rise and air cleaner to resemble an L79 set-up. It has the options of deluxe interior and exterior, right side mirror, and auxiliary lighting besides the options mentioned above. It has been lowered approx 1.5 inches. I recently installed a stainless steel exhaust system all new from the headers back. Some one in the past added the SS Badges. If you have questions please call Dan 309-235-3335. |
