I took this 57 on several 300 to 400 mile round trips last summer with zero issues and I would not hesitate to drive it across country. If you are looking for an attention getting. fun to drive classic hot rod you owe it to yourself to check out this beautiful ride. The crate engine runs great. and why wouldn’t it? It is a brand new engine right from GM and only has 12K miles on it. so there is plenty of life left in this car. The shifter works flawlessly and this is an easy car to drive. It has plenty of power and cruises at highway speeds without any issues. The paint on this car was showing signs of use. There were a few scratches and chips here and there. so I decided to have it re-done last winter. This was not just a quick spray of paint. however. The car was taken apart. Every piece of chrome was removed and polished. The interior was completely removed and professionally cleaned. Every body panel was professionally adjusted so that everything lines up perfectly. All of the gaps were set. While all of the paint was removed the body panels were inspected and it was verified that this car has no rust at all. Some of the panels had been replaced in the earlier restoration and everything is still in awesome shape. The car was them painstakingly blocked and primed and blocked and primed until the panels were perfect. The paint started as a Chrysler color that is on the newer Dodge Challengers. called Green with envy. This color was then spiced up with green and gold pearl to give it a very custom look.
