Description of 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 |
We have a 1993 Chevy Silverado 2500 long bed ¾ ton pick up for sale. The truck has a new “crate” engine from O'Reilly's and a new “crate” transmission also. Although it has been a year since installation of the motor it has only been driven 500 miles, just broken in and the oil was changed. The warranty is still good until March of 2020 with unlimited miles. The engine is a 350, 5.7 liter 4 bolts main with a new air filter, distributor cap and roter, ignition wires, oil filter, manifold set, balancer, pcv valve, spark plugs, fuel filter, thermostat (190*), outlet seal, water pump, and radiator hoses. A larger radiator was also installed recently. The transmission is an automatic 4L60E purchased from Rockauto, which is still under unlimited miles warranty until June of 2020.We took the truck to the auto shop to have the computer in the truck tied to the one in the transmission. The rear end oil was changed with new gasket, and sway bar bushings. The fuel pump was changed. The brake pads were changed, with new calipers, and brake hoses. The truck also has a towing package. The air works well and although no radio is installed, we have one for it. The upholstery is intact but a bit dirty and older, and the middle seat belt needs to be replaced. The last picture is a rubber button that says "Ziebart rust proof", they are all along the bottom of the door frame. We don't exactly know what they are but I thought we should include a pic in case it was important. We were fixing this up for a work truck but plans have changed, so now we don't need it. In a spirit of full disclosure, I just learned that the truck battery was dead. This could be because the truck was not being driven or maybe a minor short or small draw on the battery. The truck has been starting fine after that. We are selling it “as is” though. We have all receipts and paperwork that go with the truck. If you have any questions or need more pics please let us know.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
