1974 Chevrolet Caprice 2 door glasshouse. This car still wears the California tags and title. It is an 84,382 mile car that has been customized and modified tastefully. The Caprice is powered by a rebuilt(at some point) Chevy 350 that is modified with a Edelbrock high rise intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. It appears as if the motor has a slight cam as well with a lopey idle. Engine starts and runs fantastic. The transmission shifts perfectly. There are no unusual noises, smoke or leaks from the drivetrain. This is an original A/C car however the compressor will need work in order for it to function. The car has a new starter, new brakes and a new windshield (old one was cracked). Also has new sway bar bushings and sway bar links. The exterior of the car was painted at some point in its life and is not perfect however it still shines nicely and is very presentable. Expect minor chips, nicks and scratches but nothing major. There is one rust bubble over the left rear tire. Very minor but worth mentioning. All the lights work as they should. This car has a very expensive sound system with 2 amplifiers and a custom wrapped 3 sub woofer box as well as high dollar 6x9 speakers throughout the car. It is equipped with a dash mount adjustable controller for the system as well. This system is LOUD and sounds great. Thousands were spent on it. Car has a theft deterrent system as well. The interior was fully redone at some point in a custom tan and brown, including the seats, the dash and the trunk. Even the sail panels and deck lid were redone in the same material. Looks great with 1 small tear in the driver seat. The carpet was redone as well and presents like new. The headliner is in good condition. The frame is spotless with no rust issues. The car runs, drives and brakes without issue. The tires are useable but are showing signs of wear and weather checking. They are safe for now however a set of wheels and tires would really make this 2 door stand out. I don’t have the money to invest in a big wheel and tire package at this point so the new buyer can do as they please or just run the stock wheels and hubcaps. This Caprice is not a perfect 10 or a Barret Jackson show piece however it is a good reliable, fairly rare 2 door glasshouse with great potential. It’s a fun car and should make the new owner very happy. Be realistic in expectations please as it is a 1974 classic automobile that I am not asking “perfect car” or “classic car dealer” pricing. Please only bid if you are serious about buying. The reserve is very fair. International buyers are welcome. I pride myself on being very honest and good with communication. Feel free to read my feedback on some other cars I have sold. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am flexible and can work my schedule around shipping etc. I don’t ever charge storage fees and there is no rush on pickup once the car is paid in full. Good luck...
