1980 Chevrolet Scottsdale 10 short bed truck. I am the 3 owner according to the guy who I bought it from year. I bought it because I wanted to build it. The seat was missing when I got it there was a set of dodge bucket seats sitting in it. The truck was originally a 6 cylinder 3 speed truck. It has a gm sliding rear window in it. The windshield has a star in it that I do not think that plastic gunk could fix. Looking at the front bumper it looks high on the passengers side so I had a guy look at it and he said it's just a little ding from a previous bumper bender but nothing to serious it has a clean title in my name. The rear axle is a 12 bolt. The front suspension is all original no lowering springs no cut coils or dropped spindles. The doors are straight and the hood is too. The pics of the bed show the headlight rings that are now installed on the truck. The grill is also in good condition. The rear has a diamond plate step bumper looks like it needs to be narrowed so it will look correctly. The tailgate is not thrashed but it was used. Now for the bed the reason I bought this truck. All doors open and close. A couple need a little persuasion to close but nothing that requires you to through your back out to close. All keys are included with the truck. The doors lock and unlock on the bed and truck both. I bought this truck without a motor and transmission. The master cylinder must be bad because the petal does not work the brakes, but the ebrake works. Since it was originally a 3 speed the original column was swapped to a automatic tilt column it's not loose and the key works. The little rails the door seals wrap around in the door sill are intact and in good shape. The door seals are not there. The dash is cracked like everywhere, the gauge cluster looks to be a newer one instead of the Oem 80 one. The seat belts are there and need to be cleaned up. There is a rust hole in the middle of the floorboard on the drivers side that is a easy fix. The rims are a classic enki wheel very hard to find rims easily resaleable if you want that Oem hubcap look. The bed wood needs to be replaced the original color of the truck was copper. All keys work thanks in advance If you have any questions please let me know I'll take more pics of whatever you want to look at.
