Description of 1969 Chevrolet C-10 Base |
|
1969 Chevy c10 condition:good This truck was a Yakima Washington county truck most of it's life.In 1990 it was repainted and sold at auction by Yakima County, I was told the owner have just let it sit for the most part of 30 years. It seems to be characteristically evident of A shop truck. All of the pivots And zircs are over-greased as if it were over greased it's all life. It looks extremely rough but it runs smooth and drives even smoother. I bought the truck in Washington and drove it back carefree 500 miles at 15 miles to the gallon and no oil consumption to speak of. The original three on the tree has been removed and replaced with a truck for speed but other than that it is original. The chances of the odometer rolling over and this truck still be in drive-able are very little, these trucks of that era did not last much over 100,000 miles. Although not certified I believe these are original miles for the truck. blinkers and brake lights headlights it idols at the stop sign brakes are good, The front shocks and tires are new.I would drive this truck anywhere cross country, just because I know it is easily fixed and parts are still readily available. Noticed the pics of the rocker panels and floorboard, the pillars are rusted the floor board is rusted the rocker panels and cab corners are rusted, it is rusted at the rear fenders where they attached to the bed,the bed is rusted through, the wood for the bed is Rotten. |
