1958 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe 348 Tri-power with an large array of options. Options:* Two-tone Silver blue and Arctic white paint (982E)* 348 Tri-power* Power Glide* Power steering* Power brakes* Air conditioning* Wonder bar radio* Tissue dispenser* Day/ night mirror* Rear antenna* Rear speaker selector* Door edge guards* Knuckle guards* Tinted glass* Underhood light (pictured)"very rare"* Spinner caps* Wide white deluxe champion tiresThis was a rare car to be ordered with all these options. And options are very valuable and desirable on these old Chevy's these days, especially a 58 impala as you all know. Car was originally a Texas car and currently has 56,XXX original milesSO ITS VERY SOLID!. The previous owner owned it for over 30 years and stated that prior to his purchasing, it spent over a decade as a show car on the showroom floor of the dealership that originally sold it new in 1958 and supposedly was a showroom floor model back then, hence all the options. Impala has always been garaged and virtually has no rust with the exception of a bubble by the gas door. All pans braces rocker and quarters are excellent and original. This car has never been in a wreck. A very straight solid and bondo free car. The paint is very glossy and looks excellent from 5-10 feet away but does have some minor patina to it from age. Paint is 20 years or so old. This is a car you can enjoy as is and drive around and show for fun. It gets tons of attention and compliments everywhere it goes. However, it was once a show car years ago and now is a very nice driver quality survivor car. All bright work is very straight and shiny with minor patina. Glass is also good with minor patina on vent windows a quarter glass. Interior is all original to the car and shows some minor patina/age on a few components such as top of rear seat, packages tray, front door panels etc. but is mostly usable and presentable. All electrical looks original/untouched and good. Some items are non opt. May just be a fuse or something minor as I have never gotten to it, such as wipers clock and radio. Gas gauge seems finicky. Has working set of old-school SW gauges that all work. Probably been in the care since about day one. Car runs stops steers fine and has some new items, such as rear shocks, battery, new bias tires, gas tank, exhaust work, rebuild carbs. Car is being sold for a reasonable amount considering the pedigree and options, most 58's people are asking 50k plus. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty or guarantees expressed or implied. Please feel free to have car inspected or come see it. Please ask questions if you have them before you bid. This car is for sale locally as well. This is a no reserve auction so bid to win.. Thank You !
