This vehicle was originally from Maryland, then locally owned by the deceased. It is an unmolested, adult driven, and stock example including what we believe is an all original power train featuring the rare 348 V8, with Tri Power. It is a power steering, power brake car with clock, light group, Wonderbar radio and auto dimming headlights. It even has the tissue dispenser. The codes we checked match, including the color. We also are amazed at the condition of the interior and door panels, seats and dash. The paint is the original color but repainted year ago. It also features the multi color black interior. The interior, aside from minor imperfections and a bit of mouse smell at times, is very nice. The exterior has had a repaint years ago as you can see, and has many minor imperfections and some paint loss in spots. This vehicle starts well and runs fairly smoothly but will probably need to have the carbs rebuilt, and probably the gas drained and maybe tank cleaned. We would also recommend a thermostat, radiator flush, transmission and differential oil changes, and the tires are 30-40 years old. As with many of the tri carb vehicles, it is running on the center carb currently but all the linkage and lines are there and included. We drove it down the road as shown and it ran well. There is a bit of a growl in the transmission at idle but it does shift when driving and quieter when driving. Also, the radio and clock do not work. The gauges work well, and the lights. Even the interior lights work. Some of the photos show a second fuel pump by the gas tank. This was a spare to be connected if needed. It was inoperable due to age and was removed for safety. Here are additional photos to review:https://www.sellitnowstores.com/ebay/3-15-2020/58Impala/58Impala.htm The vehicle is is in great shape for the age from a rust perspective as well. Usually the frame, floor and rear pan are shot and this one is in great shape or at least far better than others. We do not know how much filler was used when bodywork was done years ago.
