The 1983 Monte Carlo SS, the first year of the G-Body Monte Carlo SS’ in which less than 5,000 were made. It has a 350 Chevy motor that has roughly 1,500 miles on it (it was replaced last year). All stock components from the original 305 motor were ported over to the 350. Factory carburetor, has not been rebuilt or tuned in the time I have owned it, but still works fine. Tires have roughly 3,500 miles on them. Exhaust was entirely rebuilt, now has a true dual setup with shorty Hooker headers, a crossover H-Pipe, 2.5” piping, and the transmission crossmember was modified to fit this exhaust. The exhaust now dumps behind the rear tires. The transmission is the stock transmission, it was rebuilt around 2,000 miles ago. The car does leak some oil and some transmission fluid. The interior of the car is entirely factory stock, featuring blue cloth with white vinyl, and bench seats, making a truly unique interior for being a Monte Carlo SS. The car came from factory with power windows, though the drivers side switch is broken and will need to be replaced (is still capable of putting the windows up and down). It also features a power drivers seat, power locks, and an adjustable steering column. The only changes made are new speakers under the rear window, and a new stereo/radio. The glove box wire which holds the glove box up is broken, so if it is opened it will have to be held to prevent items from falling out. The stereo is Bluetooth compatible, has a CD player, a USB port, lighting, and a small microphone is wired up in front of the gauges so you can take calls while driving. The car has been modified with an alarm system, it is adjustable, though it is from the 1990s. It has 1 clicker that can be used to unlock/lock the doors remotely, and it still works good. The exterior of the car is stock colors, white with a black grill, and black pinstriping. Some minor touchups were done, the front bumper was completely repainted, the passenger side door was repainted, and a small portion of the rear bumper was repainted. The exterior still looks good as new, despite some small nicks and parts where some pinstriping has come off. It has original rims, with 2 of the plastic center caps missing. The original 305 motor is at a nearby shop. Clear title.
