Description of 1973 Chevrolet C-10 4x4

Ready for some serious off-roading? We've got you covered. This eye-opening 1973 Chevrolet K-10 4 X 4 pickup is in full BEAST MODE. You won't be afraid to tackle any obstacle with this battle-ready brute. You have everything you need for an unforgettable outdoor adventure in one attractive package. These boxy, '70s-style Chevy trucks are currently riding a wave of popularity and this one has all the qualities of a great off-road machine. It's been driven and shown little since it's restoration, and take a closer look at all the goodies and you'll quickly realize that you can buy this truck much cheaper than you can build it! The first thing you notice about this K-10 is its overall height. The combination of a 7-inch lift kit and 39-inch tires put this monster of mayhem well above the action. The truck is a short bed, which makes its stance appear even more pronounced. As mentioned before, this is a relatively recent restoration (about 2 years ago), so both the paint and interior are fresh. The finish is a bright metallic blue, one of those colors that just seems to be well-received by everybody. Overall the paint is very smooth and has a terrific shine that turns heads everywhere it goes. The restoration also included all new grill, bumper, cleared lights, bezels, and a steel cowl hood. There is no rust showing anywhere, which is pretty rare for a truck from this era. You'll see that a significant investment has been made inside the cab as well, starting with custom power ostrich leather bucket seats and console. A breathtaking diamond plate dash face hosts a speedometer, tach, and quartet of Autometer gauges. Dash pads and door panels have long been a source of concern for vintage Chevy truck owners, but the ones in this high-riding giant are in excellent condition. Upgrades to the interior include a custom tilt steering wheel and AM/FM radio with CD player. The inside of this truck is just as nice as the exterior. This is actually a very pretty truck, especially for a vehicle that was built for such a specifically rugged purpose. The overall appearance is much better than you'd expect from a machine that has enough muscle to pull a tree out of the ground. No expense has been spared on the drive train of this big bruiser either. The power source is a 350 Chevrolet crate motor that has been stroked to 383 cubic inches. The 383 is a no-holds-barred engine that has quickly emerged as a favorite in both street rod and race car applications. Of course, this one has all the bolt-on upgrades like a Holley carb, HEI ignition, headers and an aluminum radiator. Horsepower is further enhanced by a fairly aggressive camshaft that hits a pretty mean lick while delivering higher revs and a broader torque range. Fire it up and it definitely sounds like it's ready to do some serious business. Look beneath this truck and you'll find that everything in sight is heavy duty. Shocks, springs, steering linkages, you name it... It's all very sturdy, and it's all in tip-top condition. A tough TH400 automatic transmission shifts like it should and serves as a rough-and-ready second link in the power train. The transfer case, hubs and all of the other four-wheel drive components are in excellent condition with a 10-bolt differential up front and a 12-bolt in the rear. The massive 39-inch tires sport an aggressive tread that enables this off-road warrior to handle any and all terrain. A ton of money has been spent on this 1973 Chevrolet K-10 to get it looking and running so great. All the work has already been done for you, and it has been done right. And it has power to spare. Pull down a tree? Oh yea. No problem! Come see it today. (Bring your own tree).
