Description of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air

Nice 1955 Chevy Bel Air Pro Street. Car was originally built by Jerry Haas Race Cars in the 90's. As you may know, Jerry Haas is one of the premier drag race car chassis builders. The car has had many recent upgrades done over the past 2 years and runs and drives excellent. This is a great cruiser for the whole family since it has the original size full back seat and no roll cage to crawl over or bump into. Front bench has a new removable center console with storage and 2 drink holders.New tubular A-Arms with modern geometry for caster and camber, New QA1 coilovers on front, New Koni coilovers on rear. New Mickey Thompson S/S Radials, 26x8.00R15LT on front and 33x22.00R15LT on the rear - these are the biggest street radials available. Weld Wheels all around. New spindles and disc brakes on the front, Ford 9" rear end with 4:11 ratio and disc brakes on the rear. Chevy 350 4 bolt main with Edelbrock Aluminum heads - Pump gas motor with approximately 400 hp. New Magnaflow mufflers tucked up for maximum ground clearance. New Aluminum triple pass radiator. New Quick Fuel Carb and new holley mechanical fuel pump. New chrome Alternator. TH400 transmission with Cheetah shifte, Power Steering, Power brakes with new Chrome Master Cylinder and Booster, Chrome steering column with Tilt wheel. Reduced diameter stock style steering wheel. New Gauges - fuel pressure, oil pressure, volts, and temperature. This is a super reliable car that runs cool and is great for cruising and local car shows. Since the car was originally painted in the 90's when the chassis was originally built, there are signs of age and some checking in the paint on the front fenders upon close inspection. As you can see from the photo's it is not very visible even from a short distance. Once you see the car in person you will realize how nice it is. I keep it in my climate controlled building with my RV. Very nice stock looking Bel Air body with full stock looking interior with a great stance that isn't so low that you can't drive over speed bumps - unlike most Pro Street cars.I've had many cars and this one gets more looks than any of them. I would keep it but I am planning to downsize my collection in plans for retirement. Sorry, No Trades. $35,000. Thanks for looking.
