Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS |
NO TRADES FOR ANYTHING, SO PLEASE DO NOT OFFER. Available for international worldwide sale and NO RESERVE! 52 years young of American pony car here! I've taken the time and effort to write an honest and comprehensive description, including video of this car, so please take the time to read the ad in its entirety and view the provided 3-minute video. This is not a concours or frame-off restored car. It is a fine example of a well above average car that drives and presents itself very well. YouTube Video: Click on link below to play video, or copy & paste the kink to your browser to view the 3-minute video of the car - video taken February 2, 2019. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW0aV-haM3g&list=UUuV7ha_H_yKa4nVVzVNSdNQ&index=1 Up for sale is our 1967 RS/SS 350/300HP Camaro. This car is a 100% quality fun-filled driver, great looking and sounding car. It is something you will be very proud of to own, enjoy, drive, participate in car cruises, local car shows or show off in your garage. It gets "thumbs-up" every time we drive it, or people ask us to pull over to look at it, or get swarmed by enthusiasts at gas stations while filling up with gas. No surprises or disappointments with this car. You will be happy with the purchase. It is a true RS/SS car in factory original exterior (1-repaint) Granada Gold color, black stipe over frontend and outstanding Gold Deluxe interior combination. The complete interior is in excellent condition. The original color was never changed on the car. It does not have its original engine. It features the correct M20 4-Speed Manual Transmission with beautiful Hurst shifter, 12-Bolt Posi-Traction Rear-end with 3.55 gear ratio, Mono Leaf Springs, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, A50 Bucket Seats, D55 Center Console, Console Gauge Package, Z23 Deluxe Interior Package, A39 Deluxe Belts, A02 Tinted Windows, Rear Speakers, 15" Rally Wheels, and Front/Rear Spoilers. It does not have a Protect-O-Plate or documented history. It does come with a correct factory manual, dealer brochure, dealer options booklet and magazine literature for the 1967 model year. It is an early LA 4P car. Spent its life in California, N. Carolina, Texas and Arizona. The paint is really nice and body is flat and very straight. Body panels are rust-free and no bondo. Rear quarter sections were replaced and done correctly. The under-chassis (frame) is free of rust holes, zero rot and minimal expected superficial surface rust. It's dry, straight and accident-free. I would love to take it apart and detail it with paint, but since we're selling it I prefer any potential new owner to see it as-is in the pictures for what it is - original, straight and no surprises. The original 350/300HP engine is long gone and was replaced with an Edelbrock crate engine a few years ago and has approximately 8,000 trouble-free miles on it. The engine features all inclusive quality Edelbrock parts such as, Edelbrock aluminum 64cc cylinder heads, Edelbrock aluminum RPM Air Gap intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carb with electric choke, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Edelbrock electronic ignition, Hooker headers, Flowmaster mufflers and great sounding Edelbrock hydraulic flat tappet camshaft exhaust note. It has 9.5:1 compression ratio for 87-91 octane pump gas. It makes approximately 410HP and 408 ft/lbs torque. The car has very good performance and drivability manners. It can be driven anywhere at any given time. The M20 4-Speed transmission was rebuilt the same time as the engine swap, so it also has approximately 8,000 trouble-free miles on it. Every gear shifts smooth and tight as it's designed to do without grinding or whining noises. The clutch is a quality aftermarket setup made by Centerforce and works perfectly as designed. The 12-bolt posi-traction rear-end operates as it should and there is no grinding, whining or gear howling. The car operates, drives, turns, handles, and stops as it should. No safety concerns. The RS headlight covers are electric (non-vacuum), and open/close as they should. Headlights, taillights, brake lights, marker lights, turn signals, windshield wipers work as they should. Speedometer, tachometer, fuel, oil pressure, engine temperature, voltage cluster gauges work as they should. Clock does not work. Upgrades For Great Drivability & Extras The car runs cool/average temperatures in all traffic or driving conditions. It has an expensive custom BeCool aluminum 4-core radiator with dual electric 13" Spal fans and billet aluminum overflow reservoir. It has never, and will never overheat. It has a quality aftermarket Vintage Air Gen IV air conditioning/heating system that works very well to keep you cool and comfortable on the warm/hot days and warm on the cooler/cold days when driving. It has an AM/FM Stereo by Custom Autosound with auxiliary inputs for Bluetooth, iPod, MP3, satellite radio and a 4 speaker system that sounds great! It has a billet aluminum accessory serpentine belt system that operates everything up front on the engine. No more breaking, shredding, noisy squeaky factory type belts; a single serpentine belt runs everything! It has dual sway bars for better road stability and overall handling. Fabric Car Cover and clear plastic car cover to show off in your garage Clear, clean Arizona title. The car is available for international worldwide sale and we reserve the right to end the auction and sell elsewhere. Inspections (if needed) are welcome by appointment only based on our schedule. We just don't have the room to keep this Camaro with our other cars and motorcycles taking up space. Before Bidding Please have your permissions, approvals or financials in order before bidding.
