If you're going to dream, dream big. Clearly someone wanted to build the ultimate '69 Camaro and pulled out all the stops to create this stunning SS Tribute. With a thundering big block under the hood, high-impact bodywork, and a slick black interior, this is the Camaro we all wish we owned. Seriously, if you could have a vintage Camaro built any way you wanted, isn't this pretty much what you'd wish for? The bodywork is in... great shape and there's no mistaking that fantastic 1969 Camaro profile. The searing red paint isn't this car's original color (that would be code 57 Fathom Green), but who can argue with the results? A cowl hood, ducktail spoiler, and black Z/28 stripes make it look predatory, and you'll note that the front fenders wear '454' emblems that weren't installed by accident. There were no liberties taken with the Camaro's classic shape, and it offers a few optional upgrades like the vinyl top, chin spoiler and polished wheel well moldings, all of which do a lot to really dress things up. It's not a perfect trailer queen, but when it's hammering down the highway everyone will want to be the guy behind the wheel, and from that vantage point, this car is nothing but exciting. From behind the wheel, there's no way to tell that this isn't a beautifully restored, stock Camaro. The black interior always looks elegant and sporty, and the workmanship is still in good condition throughout. A wood applique covered center console features a horseshoe shifter for the sturdy TH350 transmission. The factory steering wheel is still in place but has seen better days, so a sporty Grant steering wheel is provided with purchase and is a clever update of the original with a slightly fatter rim that's also smaller in diameter. There's no radio currently installed in the factory housing in the dash, but like many of the muscle cars we feature, the best music comes from under the hood and this car definitely fits the bill. It also offers a clean, well-finished trunk with spatter paint for a very authentic look. Brutal is one word for the mammoth 454 cubic inch big block under the hood. Fitted with a mild cam, the motor takes no prisoners and is ready to rip torque through the asphalt. It can also be remarkably docile and easy to manage in real-world traffic thanks to an aluminum intake and an Edelbrock 600CFM of glasspack mufflers to handle the rumble. Beautifully dressed in black custom 454 valve covers and Edelbrock air cleaner, it's neatly presented for show or go, with an eye toward attracting attention anywhere the hood is popped. Power front discs and power steering tame this beast for a more pleasant driving experience, and leaf springs out back do their best to plant the power coming from a beefy 12-bolt rear end. Bright rallye wheels are always a timeless look on a 1st gen Camaro, and this one wears modern-sized 25/60/15 front and 235/60/115 rear BFGoodrich T/A white-letter radials for a pure look. If you're looking for a slick, weaponized 1969 Camaro, look no further. This red '69 has lots of pop, and style for days. Call today!
