Description of 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air |
Selling my 1963 Bel Air Wagon. I have had it for 3. 5 years. Has 1968 Nova/Chevelle 250 6 cylinder motor. Motor runs very well and has new clutch. fuel pump. plugs. wires. points. brakes. wheel cylinders. master cylinder. When I did the clutch last month I put in all new ujoints and shifter lever grommets and transmission mount. Dash is very nice. Mileage shows 71000 and believe this to be correct. Gas tank needs cleaned but not rusted out (very hard to find) so just run on small gas can for now. Front floor pans need replaced someday but the rest of floors are very solid and not rusted out. Headliner needs stitched above driver side rest is pretty good with small holes here and there. Bottom of each front fender is rusted and bottom of tailgate needs repair but not bad. Tailgate operates fine and window rolls up n down . so do the other windows. Door latch on passenger side needs new latch. other doors close fine. Front seat has seatcover on it and will need redone sometime. Second seat is very nice original. This is a 6 passenger wagon . Needs shocks and tie rods. Rear interior tailgate panel is off so i could clean it out just have not reinstalled. Side trim is off the passenger side but I have it. Has original spare tire well mat and jack (not pictured). Glass is good except windshield has a crack and rear tailgate window has scratches. Hood springs need replaced but have the original ones . just weak. Needs new tailpipe and muffler. Tires and wheels are pretty nice and should last quite a while. Someone painted it flat black. the lines in the old paint are from a power washer. Car was originally light blue. Clear KS title in my name. This is a pretty straight wagon which you could drive and fix up as you go. I looked a long time for one but goin a different direction on another car. I ran the style number on the cowl tag and it shows a V8 car so i imagine it had a 283 and 3speed when new. It has 6 cylinder emblems on it maybe from different car sometime. Whoever buys the wagon will get a good one to fix up and they are awesome when finished! You can leave it here til you come get it or while you arrange for shipping as long as the car is paid for via wire transfer. bank transfer. cashier check. or cash. It leaves when the money is done. Deposit of $300. 00 via paypal upon auction close. Reserve the right to end auction anytime. its for sale locally also. |
