The drip rail it self is solid across the top of the cab and the top of the rail is solid over the top of the door. Again. if you are the winning bidder and for ANY reason you think this truck is not as describe. I will refund your deposit and you will not be obligated to purchase this truck. I want to honestly describe this truck. I have owned two 67-72 trucks before this one. and this one is the most solid I have seen by far. I will be home all weekend. if you would like to see the truck. please message me. The truck is 7 miles south of I75 in Macon . Ga. On Nov-22-14 at 10:06:26 PST. seller added the following information: Found some goodies I will throw in if someone uses the buy it now A set of dropped spindles. 2. 5 drop . new in the box. These came from Summit and sell for $230 new. A used roller cam from a 1996 Corvette. This is a used roller cam in great shape and will slip right into the LT1. This should boost the HP of the LT1 from 270hp to around 300 hp. I had a question about selling the truck without the engine and trans. If you do not want the engine and Trans. I will reduce the selling price by $300. It worth more than that. I feel the trans and engine would sell for $800-$100 by themselves. The computer would more than likely sell for $200 alone. The reason I will not reduce the selling price more is I do not want to deal with selling it separately. Engine is complete with harness and computer. If you are local. ( ~within 90 miles) I can help you install the electronics and get it running. ( I can not cover the cost of any parts). I also have a stand alone computer for the trans I will sell cheap. if you want to run a Carb. Summit sells a intake to run a carb on this engine. With the EFI and 4 speed auto. the stock 3. 73 rear gear. I think this truck will run low 14's in the 1/4 and still get almost 20 mpg on the highway when complete. heck. if I write much more I will talk myself out of selling it. Hurry. buy it before I change my mind. |
