a friend of mine was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and asked me to help sell his pride and joy. This may be the most perfect 1950 Chevrolet 3800 in the world the quality of this build is amazing. The 216 Inline 6 was rebuilt 5,000 miles ago and it runs flawless, this is the original engine that came in the truck new. I did body and paint work for 15 years and this is the best paint work I have ever seen, it truly is SHOW CAR Quality, i could not find a single flaw in the paint and the body work is lazer straight. Believe it or not, no panels where replaced this truck is 100% factory sheet metal, they had some dings to straighten out but did zero rust repair, even the tailgate was the original tailgate that came out on this truck in 1950. The truck was original dark green but the owner picked out a 1998 GM color Emerald Green Metallic 2 stage paint and the interior was painted in a 1998 Pewter Metallic.The owner claims even 3 of the hubcaps are original hubcaps that came on the truck from day one. All the Chrome work is super shiny and bright, no pitting at all. The wheels and running boards are both powered coated. The owner shows this truck about every weekend and it always wins awards.Promise you will not find a nicer 1950 Chevy pickup than this.
