Being offered at NO RESERVE high bidder wins this 1969 Chevelle SS 396 375 HP 4-speed 12-bolt posi fathom green with green bucket seat interior. Non numbers matching but does have a 1969 date code 396 engine built to 375 HP specs. Motor sounds really good with a nice lopy Comp Cams solid camshaft Edelbrock intake custom built Proform Carb works great also. Has factory exhaust manifolds that bolt to a brand new Factory Chambered Exhaust system with correct tips from Pypes. Has a Richmond 4 speed (M22 beefed up) with heavy duty gears and synchronizers built to take much more horsepower than a stock M22. Shifts like butter and also has a G Force heavy duty clutch and pressure plate that's all new. Original 12 bolt posi rear is date coded to car 3.73 ratio. Has power steering and power disc brakes with new calipers and drilled and slotted rotors. Car has NO RUST issues no bubbles 1 repaint 30 years ago and 2 GM quarters trunk pan is original and very nice as well as the floorboards which are both in exceptional condition. Body is arrow straight gaps and seams are as nice as they come fit and finish is excellent. Paint is 30 + years old but has no checking or cracking but does have a couple small imperfections and it's not perfect by any means but is very presentable. I would 6.5 on a 1-10 and I am picky.. This was originally a 396 350 HP air conditioned SS I have known this car and the previous owner for the last 30 plus years and it sat in his garage with no engine after he blew the original motor up years ago. I purchased the car and found a motor and got a new transmission and put it all back together. Car was just finished a few months ago and has only been driven several hundred miles. I also have the air conditioning compressor and lines to hook the AC back up just needs a condenser and a few parts wouldn't be a big deal to hook the AC back up if desired. Car runs nice and cool 170 degrees all day even at 90 degrees outside. If you're looking for a rust free 69 Chevelle at a reasonable price this is your car. I was going to repaint the car and do a few things but I've run out of time and money. Car is being sold as is with no warranty a $1,000 deposit is due 48 hours after auctions end with balance due within 5 days of auctions end if you cannot agree to these terms please do not bid.
