Description of 1989 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible |
1989 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Zora Arkus-Duntov (December 25, 1909 April 21, 1996) was a Belgian-born American engineer whose work on the Chevrolet Corvette earned him the nickname "Father of the Corvette." He is sometimes erroneously referred to as the inventor of the Corvette, whereas that title belongs to Harley Earl. He was also a successful racing driver, taking class victories in 1954 and 1955 24 Heures du Mans. For consignment, a nice example of a 1989 Convertible Corvette. Only a 3 owner car, with consigner stated 66,300 + miles and well documented maintenance records, and/or paperwork from the showroom. Exterior Interior Drivetrain Undercarriage This Corvette has suffered some engine and transmission problems, but were covered by GM, and replaced with appropriate parts. A clean example, with copious records of various maintenance and repairs, never driven in snow/salt environment convertible.
