1968 Camaro RS / SS with open title

This car has gone through some non-authentic restorations over the course of its life judging by reading the original configuration numbers

(i.e. was originally British green with white vinyl top, it originally had the correct taillight panel, ivory houndstooth bucket seats, etc).
However, it's a great candidate for a restoration. I don't know why they changed out the taillight panel and didn't replace it with the correct
panel or taillights - maybe back then an RS SS panel wasn't available or it just wasn't a big deal to the owner at the time - just guessing
though because we do not know the car's history.

The duck butt on the back is steel, not fiberglass
The cowl induction hood is all steel

We bought this in this condition a few years back but we have too many projects and not enough time so we're passing the torch to

someone who can get it up and going.

It originally had a factory V8 per VIN. It still has a small block Chevy in it. Unsure of size or any details about it. It came with the car

when we bought it.

For some reason someone converted it to an automatic transmission at some point in it's life - which is what's in it right now.

However, the sell includes some pieces necessary to convert it back to the original 4 speed manual transmission configuration,including a 4-speed manual transmission that came with the car when we bought it.

Condition unknown on everything since we have never began the restoration project.
