Description of 1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups

This is a really decent unrestored 1956 Chevy 3100. three on the column. orig. drivetrain. except motor has been swapped to a really nice 278 V8 with a high performance two barrel. It came with a V-8 from the factory and I have the 265 that came in it. It's complete. but should be rebuilt. I haven't done anything to this truck since I bought it this summer. The bed floor is metal. but I have all kinds of bed parts. that go with it. The title is clear and signed by the guy I bought it from. It would pass inspection with the turn signals working. There is a short somewhere and when you turn on the right signal it blows the fuse. I have an original shop manual and orig. owners manual and enough body parts and other good parts to fill up two pickups. I have two decent used grills. extra bumper. new wiring harness. on and on. I had the truck bed and my truck bed full. on my trip home with the truck. It runs real good. Look at the photo of the engine. it's nice!! I love the patina of the truck and was going to keep it and clear coat it. There is minor rust out at bottom of doors. minor on floor board and look at the photos for other. Spare isn't much good. I have great rear fenders extra. enough parts to build most of another bed and two more doors. everything I have for this truck is included!!!I just started renovating a very old farm house and it will take all my time and money. So I decided to sell this truck. It's the kind I've always wanted and also the kind everyone else wants. here's your chance. Call me or write me for more info. I'll help all I can.
