Description of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 |
1972 K5 Blazer Project Ready For Paint! Easy Shipping. We can assist with finding an affordable transporter, no matter your location. All of the hard work has been done on this 1972 K5 Blazer project, now it is ready for paint and reassembly. This would be an easy project for someone to make their Blazer build. Check last picture to get an idea of how it would look finished. This Blazer was already in really good shape when we found it, but we decided to build it but plans changed and we just don't have time to complete it. All of the rust repair work has been done with new metal. We replaced the rockers, did some repairs to the lower rear quarters and repaired the dash where it was cut for a new radio. The Blazer has been primed and is now ready for block sanding and paint. It comes with a ton of brand new parts to complete the project like new inner wheel wells, complete carpet kit (moss green), new dash pad (green) and a complete wood grain trim kit, includingthe tailgate wood grain "Chevrolet" insert. It has the original 350 with the rare 4 speed manual transmission. We just did an oil service, tune up, flushed all of the fluids, transmission and transfer case fluid change and rebuilt the carburetor. It runs and drives great! They are in great shape and with a set of new factory covers for just $229 they would look like new. The radio cut out on the dash has been repaired back to factory and the rest of the dash is in great shape. The previous owner installed a column from a Corvette, but it comes with two used columns to convert back. The door panels are in good shape and would look like new painted. The floors and cargo area are in great shape, there are just two spots that need repaired. It comes with a new dash pad and a complete carpet kit with factory backing.
