Description of 1959 Chevrolet El Camino EL CAMINO |
NO RESERVE AUCTION! BID TO OWN! Any questions - please call me at 905 808 0542 This is one beautiful 1959 El Camino! The paint is shining and on the sun looks like a mirror (pictures were taken on freezing -2C cold and no sun:)The car is complete - everything is there! Interior was redone at some point and new carpets and seat was installed - I think that's the original seat that it was redone! The car starts and runs but I think the gasoline inside the gas tank is 20 years old... Ive put new gas and it started right away but I think the gas tank needs to be removed and the old gas cleaned out...The clutch is good and the car goes through all the gears - First, Second, Third and ReverseI think the engine is 283CI but I'm not sure - the VIN says 283 so I would assumeThe previous owner was 73 years old mechanic and he did most of the work on the car years ago...except the paintwork! He gave the car to a professional body shop and the paint really looks amazing! He assured me that the breaks are rebuild and the car really stops very good without pulling to the left or right. The glass is all good except the drivers side door glass - it's broken! Again the original owner said that that glass is the same as Chevy Biscane and should be fairly easy to find and installThe Headliner needs to be redone! The Chrome is in good shape without any rust or anything on it!The car leaks oil and that problem should be addressed right awayPlease watch the videos that I upload here and if you have any questions, please call me... Car is located in Canada! For International Buyers - I can ship from Canada to Bremenhaven for $1000 For US Buyers - I can take care of all the paperwork and import documents and give you a US Title through my partner Dealership in Chicago for $1000. Than I can arrange shipping for you to your home address through Central Dispatch and give you my cost on shipping. Prices are like California/Arizona/Washington $700 - $900, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky $300 - $400Texas, Florida, Georgia $500 - $600Or you can drive to Toronto with your trailer and haul it back home - the paperwork across the border is really simple and cost $20Any questions - please call me at 905 808 0542 NO RESERVE AUCTION!
