Description of 1966 Chevrolet Impala 2 Door Coupe |
| Here we have the most beautiful 1966 Impala around. This beauty has not been molested nor power train altered. This is a numbers matching car. 327 engine is running strong. accompanied with a Holley 650 CFM Carb. 2 speed automatic transmission shifts great. Rear end is a 10 bolt. positraction. This car will run down the freeway at 90 mph as smooth as silk!The paint is Tuxedo Black with a clear coat. super glossy and just shines forever. Recently was wet sanded 3 times and then had an aircraft grade sealer applied. It will never need waxing again! The door jambs. hood area and trunk were all detailed and painted just the same as the body. All five windows were tinted with high grade ceramic tint. The interior is medium blue. The seats are perfect. no rips or stains. Door panels. back seat side panels replaced. All window cranks. door handle and arm rests were replaced. New sail panels in the head liner and new rear deck panel. All gauges work. the cold light (green) comes on when started and goes off at about 100 degrees. Speedometer works fine. Warning lights for low oil and emergency brake on work. Clock does not work. The sound system is an AM/FM Cassette with two 6x9 Focal Speakers in the back dash. This car is solid. drives straight as an arrow. Power brakes with front disc and rear drums. 80 % life left. Car was not spec'd with power steering. it was added at a cost of $1400. Now turns on a dime like a VW! The engine area is highly detailed as you can see in the pictures. This is the jewel box and the beautiful 327 is the jewel! Radiator was just routed out and is like new. Heavy duty 3 rail radiator. Car runs very cool. All belts and hoses are fairly new (within the last 5 years) This car is driven no more than 800 miles a year at most. The car is definitely not a driver. its much nicer than that! Never driven in the rain. garaged and kept with a cover on it. Cover comes with the car. The car has had so much attention.
