Description of 1981 Chevrolet Malibu

1981 CHEVROLET MALIBU LS SWAP 6.0, 4 SPEED MANUAL.The engine is a 2004 LQ9 6.0 with an LS3 top end. The swap was done by the previous owner and the engine was rebuilt with flat top pistons, 11:1 compression ratio and Howards cam. It runs fine on 93 octane pump gas. Transmission is 4 speed manual SUPER T10 with HURST shifter. New CENTERFORCE clutch was installed during engine swap.THE CAR IS VERY FAST!!! Estimated horsepower is around 450hp!
Car has newer 3â€ dual exhaust system with stainless steel mufflers. Rallye wheels are in very good shape. Power brakes (front disc) and working power steering. Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.Body is in good shape and straight but does have some rust spots as depicted in the photos. I would say the worst rust spots are on the rear left quarter and on the trunk lid. The rear bumper has rust on it but I do have a really nice used bumper that will come with the car.The paint is good but it is not the best quality so there is some peeling on the front bumper.Frame and undercarriage are very solid.
All the lights work. Windshield wipers work as well as the fuel gauge.The car has aftermarket tachometer and gauges.Speedometer and horn do not work.Part of the heating system has been deleted so there is no working heater.Interior is in great shape with exception of the dash that has 2 cracks in it.The car starts right up and runs excellent! I have a clear Massachusetts title in my name. Thank you
