Description of 1950 Chevrolet Other Sport Coupe |
1950 Chevrolet Sport Coupe PROJECT For Sale 1950 Chevrolet Sport Coupe Time for me to sell my project car; a 1950 Chevy Coupe. Frame has been modified with a '78 Camaro sub-frame with custom airbags and shortened control arms to match stock width in front. 350 chevy was used in mock-up and fits perfect. The rear of the frame is a custom parallel 4-link with panard bar welded to a Ford 9" with airbags and a C-Notch. When airbags are deflated the car is 1" off the ground. I was in the process of welding in new floors. inner / outer rockers and front quarters when I lost interest. Driver's side is partially fitted up. New sheet metal will be included (front trans tunnel. inner/outer rockers L+R. front toe boards. front driver and passenger floors. lower front quarters L+R. front and center floor braces L+R) . All sheet-metal is EMS bought from chevs of the 40s. The car body is complete. but in parts. There are no cloth interior parts except for seats. I have been gathering parts for this car for years and have too many to list! Below is a partial-list of details and items that will be included with purchase: All glass plus extra quarter . rear glass . and door glass Two sets of interior window trim Fulton sun shade Swamp cooler New 15" steel vintique wheels New Coker Wide white radials. 0 miles Master Power Brakes under floor setup installed 8 Parker air solenoids Viair 450 air compressor Air gauges and switches 2 air tanks Aluminum barrel keg for gas tank/ plus stock tank Old amo box for air solenoids 3' long Victor torch for shifter New chrome door handles New chrome head light bezels New chrome tail lights with glass lens Borg warner 3 speed with electronic overdrive I know I'm forgetting some stuff. The car is a major project and has no motor. brake lines. fuel lines. or air lines ran. It also needs the floors completed and more. Body panels are in pretty good shape with minimal rust. Roof is straight with minimal surface rust. Someone needs to finish this car. It will make a great 50s custom! I have over $7. 00 in to this car and I know I will be taking a huge loss but would be happy to see someone put the time in to finishing it. It makes no sense for me to keep this in my garage any longer. All reasonable offers will be considered. Ideally I'd like to get around $4000 OBO. Please email with any questions. Car is located in Washington State. $4000 OBOAs-is. no refunds. buyer responsible for all costs and coordination of shipping/pickup. Be prepared for a lot of extra loose parts to be shipped with car. |
