This is a 1940 chevy coupe that I acquired threw a trade. The car was owned by a good friend and he bought the car at Daytona show in November. The car was sliver and red but had old paint so be painted it flat black. The car is an older built street rod with 350 chevy small block, automatic turbo 400 transmission, Mustang II front end with manual rac steering. The brakes are power and has 4 wheel disc. The rear is 10 bolt unknown gear but seams stock. The interior has tilt wheel, old school gauges and wood dash, its got power windows that work good. It will need a carpet but the rest is all there just older. The wiring was updated to newer style fuel panel. The car starts right up but starter will need shimmed or replaced its grinding a little. The car runs good has mild cam and drives good for an old street rod. The frame is original to the car. The body is in fairly good shape worst rust is on drivers side in bottom corner between door and fender and both sides of front lower cab (shown in last pictures) The fenders and running boards are fiberglass. The hood is held down with bungee cord it will need a latch. The trunk works good and holds open. Its got a large fuel cell holds 30 gallons I think. The drivers door needs adjusted its hard to close but it works. The passenger side seams to work good. The car needs TLC but you can drive as is and work on as you go. I'm open to offers threw ebay.
