Runs great, very reliable, drive anywhere has new oem style replacement carpet and seat upholstery, needs dash pad and sun visors to be replaced yet for finishing off the interior and ideally an original am/fm cassette radio for originality. New carpet and seat upholstery have maybe 500 miles of use since installed, smells like new, very comfortable and presentable, gets a lot of compliments even with or maybe especially due to the patina exterior! Drivers side rear topper window has cracks and should be replaced. I have replaced the window felts in the doors and rear tailgate; tailgate power window moves a bit slow now but felts just went in today 2/16/2020 and they will break in like the door windows did. Power windows front and rear all working, power locks working, AC did function last summer but leaked over several weeks and should get serviced; likely the o-rings at the compressor which is the common culprit on these vehicles. I mentioned in the title its a Sequoia Special; that's on the build sheet (see photo). I'm not sure what the Sequoia Special was exactly but this 4x4 Chevy Silverado K5 Blazer is definitely fully loaded! Options include 350 engine, 700R4 automatic with overdrive, four wheel drive, air conditioning, power windows, factory tinted rear windows, optional paint and trim, see the build sheet for more info. Very enjoyable to drive, very hard to find in this condition and especially in California. Check out the recent Barret auction at Scottsdale; a similar blazer with fresh black paint job but not as optioned out sold for 35K!!! This is a no reserve auction, starting bid is reasonable, gives buyer a lot of room to continue to restore or enjoy as is at an affordable price. Original California vehicle with the blue and gold plates, many of these have been shipped out of stateor scrapped over the years due to smog requirements. This passes smog with flying colors; you will not see many of these in the state at all!
