Up for auction, NO RESERVE, is this fantastic 1975 Chevy G10 Shorty Van! We purchased this van from the original owner and it still was wearing it's original 2-tone blue factory colors. (pictures available) This California G10 body was very straight and had zero rust issues. The van also showed no signs of accident damage as the metal was all original GM panels. PPG polar white was sprayed and cleared over. The paint is nice and flat and the hood stripes are painted, cleared over as well. A set of American Racing Special Edition Torque Thrust II's wrapped in Kuhmo 245 50 ZR18 rubber seals the deal and provides an excellent look and killer stance! We also installed new gas shocks on all four corners and replaced the brakes front and rear. There is a class 3 hitch installed with a 7-pole connection as well as an HD 12v port to run accessories. This wonderful Shorty G10 was ordered from the factory with a V8 engine, TH400 auto transmission, power brakes (front disc) power steering, HD cooling system, HD charging system, tilt column and gauge package. This van also has the pop-out glass for the rear doors! The engine and rear end are both original. The transmission has been replaced. All lights inside and out function as intended as do the horn, heater windshield wipers, cigarette lighter etc. A new windshield and upgraded seal was installed by Safelight and the rear tear drop windows also received new seals.
The interior up front is all stock and functional. Th original seats have covers on them. A Kenwood head unit w/USB has been installed. The interior and ceiling surfaces were treated to acoustical barrier to keep things quiet and help keep the interior from getting too hot/cold. A custom made cabinet system was fitted and installed and it includes U-shaped seating, 2 storage areas, a sleeping area as well as a built in cabinet for the refrigerator/freezer. The installed unit is a Kenmore and is brand new/never used. The cabinet has a lift up top and a sliding drawer beneath. The interior hard work has been done and can be finished to suit your needs at any auto upholstery shop. We had plans to finish the interior using a diamond plate theme.
This Shorty G10 runs and drives great! It does not leak or smoke and runs cool. The van has a clean California title in our names and is currently registered as well. If sold to a new California owner, rejoice because there is NO SMOG Required! We have pictures of the G10 prior to paint available to interested bidders. Enjoy the auction, bid to win and bid often!
