Description of 1964 Chevrolet Corvette |
1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible “Fuelie†fuel injectionsilver blue exterior with silver and blue leather interior. This corvette has been owned by me for many years andrecently had a complete engine performance rebuild by Rick Frye, with the fuel injectionsystem rebuilt by Ken Hansen fuel injection all to stock specifications. It comeswith a rare late 1960’s factory correct solid lifter CE block with all other majorcomponents original and numbers matching including but not limited to: 4 speed Muncitransmission, rear end, fuelie unit, distributor, and alternator. For superior driveability and dependability severalimportant components have been upgraded including period correct Delco Moraine4 wheel disc brakes, full suspension, power steering, dual master cylinderpower brakes, Magnaflow exhaust, and aluminum radiator. This corvette runsextremely smooth with no vibrations at any speed. The paint is older but color matched to the original silverblue color code on the car and the interior originally all dark blue per codewas upgraded to include silver leather seats and door panels which was personalpreference as is a stunning combination. I do have the original wheels andhubcaps which will be included with the car as it currently has after-marketrally wheels and wider radial tires on it now for better handling. The convertible top is dark blue and it has the hard top optionwith factory deck lid holes, but I do not have the hardtop. Over the years Ihave taken this beauty to several cart shows and it always draws a crowd, mostly because of the stunning Fuel Injection unit. In 2019 it was selected forinside display at the 2019 GoodGuys Del Mart show and won an “Award of Excellenceâ€plaque. Fuelies are getting very rare and this is a reluctant saleso it is your chance to own an very dependable, significantly upgraded corvettethat could be driven across country at a moment’s notice.
