I am listing a very straight and rock solid 1936 Chevy pickup that's cute as a bugs ear. This truck has it's original GM steelbody panels and fenders. The truck hasa straight box, fenders, doors, hood and roof. The doors close easy and tight, the windshieldcranks out and back in easy. There isnew wood in the box floorand a new front floor mat.The truck steers good, the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake drumsand master cylinder were replaced about a year ago. The truck drives, steers and stops like a 1936 model can be expectedto drive and brake. The lights work, some of the gauges work, oil pressure, voltsand temperature work, the speedo.& gas gaugedoes not work. The truck is still 6 volt with a new 100 amp 6 volt alternator. The battery is new and turns themotor over like a 12 volt. The rebuilt motor is a 1950 model it starts with the ignition switch instead of the foot starter on the floor. The motor starts right up and runs and idles smooth, no noises, no oil, or coolant leaks, no smoking issues. The truck has a solid exhaust system and heater. The clutch is good, with no slipping issues, the trans shifts good, no grinding when shifting, no popping out of any of the gears. The glass is all good, the tires look good, but they have flat spots fromthe truck sitting for 25 years in an old dealership that went out of businessthe truck was beingamongmany other antique automobiles thatwere being stored there.. I am selling the truck as is where is without any warranties whatsoever. " keep in mind this is an 84 year old truck "please remember to ask any and all your questions while the auction is live. Thank you very much for your time checking out the old truck.
