Awesome 1948 Chevrolet 3100 bagged rat rod with perfect vintage patina. Body is in fair shape and in tact with no dented panels but it does have a few surface rust areas and a bit of rot in the lower rear cab corners (typical) and front lower back fender ends. Body has been nicely channeled over frame with new floors and tunnel. Doors open and close as they should and glass is original and in functional condition. drivers door glass is only glass with cracking. The truck sits on a fully cleaned and painted S10 frame that looks brand new. Truck will lay the frame body on the ground via a custom installed 4 corner air ride system with rear mono leaf. Suspension has 2 Airmaxxx 480 compressors. 5 gal Airmaxxx tank. 4 corner dual air valves. AVS 7 rocker 4 corner controller. dual AVS gauges front and rear and a AVS tank pressure gauge. Rear is a factory S10 unit with nice highway gear for low rpm highway cruising. No problems keeping things cool with a custom race spec radiator and electric fan. truck also has complete new wiring from front to back. Engine is a very stout Chevy 350 with aluminum intake and 4bbl carb. Sorry I do not know the specs on the motor due to the fact that it was done by a previous owner and I do not have a build sheet for it. I can tell you that it starts easy and is not temperamental with tons of power and has a great cam lope. Exhaust is run through custom tube headers and new exhaust with glass pack mufflers putting of a fantastic low tone. Truck has a strong shifting 350 automatic that has worked perfectly for me with no issues. Interior has 3 under dash temp. volt and oil pressure gauge cluster. factory gauges are not operational. I use a GPS for speedo. This 3100 runs great and stops great due to the S10 factory power break setup for ease of use and service. Power steering is believed to also be from a S10 with tilt wheel. Wheels are new 15" Eagle Alloy and all new tires on all four corners. Custom aluminum 15 gallon tank with aircraft fittings is also installed. This is a all around great bagged rat rod shop truck. just add your company logo or club name on the doors and stop traffic at any cruise in or show. *I also have a rough sawn wood plank bed cover that will fit perfectly inside the bed area to cover the air ride system and frame.
