This auction is for a 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4 door sedan. It has it's original 348 V-8 4bbl moto, dual exhaust with power glide trans. No power steering or power brakes. All factory tinted glass as the car was a factory ac car. The compressor is missing but everything else is in tact. This car came out of Kentucky with the same owner for the past 26 years. The car is very solid with a lot of original paint and patinathat is hard to replicate. There are a few minor rust issues which consist of the very lower drivers side rear quarter, a few pin holes in the trunk pan and a small spot (pictured ) on the passenger front floor pan. All very easy repairs. The interior is original and showing it's age. Headliner has a few holes and carpets are worn. Has 4 new white wall radial tires. The master brake cylinder is weeping by the firewall and only holds pressure when you pump it up. It needs a new seal or just replace it. We have been usingthe E brake to yard drive the car. Mechanically the car runs great. Fix the brake issue and it needs new exhaust doughnuts up front and you could be drivingthe car. The trunk pan had light surface rust so I sanded it down and primed it to protect it. The car shows 66,720 miles and was told that it is actual. It also states that on the title. If you are looking for a nice old Impala this would make a nice family cruiser with very little work. I have had all kind of chances to sell the running gear but I will leave that up to the next owner. We have the car listed locally there fore we reserve the right to end the auction at any time unless it meets reserve than we will let the auction run it's course. We have clear title and all proper transfer paper work. We require a $500 dollar non refundable deposit at the end of auction and balance to be paid for within 3 days of auctions end.
