Up for auction is a 1966 Chevrolet Impala. I purchased it from the original owner who bought it new in 1965. I have known this car since Iwas a kid. The car has had one repaint believed to be in the late 80s and the interior is all original. The chrome and other trim appear to be all original as well. The fender skirts have been on it since I can remember. The mileage has increased since the last set if pictures because it does get driven and enjoyed. Although the car was repainted it does not appear to have any body filler or panel replacement. There are a few places bubbling on the left lower quarter panel as seen in the picture. The 283 2 Barrel engine and Powerglide transmission are original. This car has no modifications. The single stage paint appears to show some age but still polishes to a cruiser quality shine. I was asked about the truck floor and floor pans. There are not any visible holes from the bottom that I noticed. The trunk mat tries to stick to the the sealer that was previously applied to the trunk floor and I really do not want to pull up this original carpet. The vehicle comes with the original title, owners manual, protecto plate, and bill of sale. I have a sales brochure that has a car of the same color on the cover.
