Description of 1951 Chevrolet Other

This is a 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe. It is a off frame restoration. drive line has been all updated. The engine is a Chevy 350 4 bolt main bored 30 over with new 10:1 flate top pistons. Blazer cam. Gear drive. 202 valves. all new valves . prings. keepers. roller rockers. Intake is a Edlebrock dual-quad set up with two Edlebrock 550cfm carbs. Ignition is a GM HEI distributor. Transmission is a Chevy 350 turbo rebuilt with a B/M shift kit. The rear end is a 12 bolt positraction out of a 69 Chevelle (Posi works great). Weld in ladder bars (does not wheel hop). Car is set up with 4 wheel disc brakes. all shocks are new. front coil springs. rear leaf springs and bushings. all new. The body has rust free front fenders. inner fenders and doors from a parts car from California. Both rocker panels have been replaced and lower quarter panels. The gas tank was replaced with a 15 gal fuel cell and the filler was moved to the rear using a fold down plate bracket from a 69 Chevelle. The trunk floor was redone when the tank was installed. Car has a complete header back dual exhaust with a X pipe and two street performace mufflers(Sounds Great). Car has a complete 12 volt wiring system. battery is mounted in the trunk with a kill switch mounted to the right of battery. Steering box has been replaced with a steering rack and the steering colum is flaming River GM tilt. The head lights. tail lights. directionals are working. The windshield was replaced with a new green tint one piece windshield and the rear was replaced with a new green tint window. both with new gaskets. The factory front and rear seats are in the car (need to be redone) but in good shape. Car needs a headliner. rug and side panels to be done. Car needs side green tint side glass. front and rear bumpers. Chrome reverse wheels with new rubber. Front grille was put together with all new old stock parts. Has a new 12 volt wiper motor(Have wiper transmission and arms). Car was painted 4 years ago. I have own the car for allmost 15 years. lways been stored inside.
