Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500. 5.0. This is a true SURVIVOR. I purchased this truck in 1996 from a plumber, removed the cap and had it painted red (my fleet color) original color was BLACK .For the past 24 years we used this truck June, July and August for large fields, baseball, football fields, parks etc. Then parked it in our garage the rest of the year. This past June we decided to remove this truck from our fleet ( mainly because the only driver I allowed to use this truck retired and I don't trust turning it over to another driver due to the trucks age ) This truck is perfect for a collector because its almost 100 percent stock. The only changes: removed cat ( moved exhaust to the side, bypassed heater core ( never used in the cold or rain), disconnected a/c (the entire a/c system is less than 2 years old, just the line behind the compressor is off) It does have the normal oil leaks you would expect and it tends to smoke blue sometimes (valve seals due to always sitting) been like this for at least the last 20 years. Virtually no rust, just inside the front wheel wells a hole at the bottom you can see when you lift the hood (steel wells original) about 3 inches round (actually been there since i purchased this truck) It runs smooth, drives straight, shifts great and never been in an accident. I encourage a serious buyer to see this truck in person before bidding ends to make 100 percent sure its for you, buying by just looking at the pictures and my write up is not in my opinion a safe way to purchase any vehicle. I have the original tailgate in storage. ***The spray tank, pump and tool box will be removed and is NOT part of this sale. ***I just wanted to let the purchaser know and see the history and use of this truck.
