Description of 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS Tribute |
This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS tribute really has all the right pieces you want. That means slick paint, a split bumper front end, upgraded suspension, and a well-built small block that's ready to lay down some serious power. We have about $10k in build receipts documenting a four-year investment in restoring this coupe. This means the blue paint gives one heck of a shine when you park it at the car shows. Why are we immediately taking about car shows? Because everyone loves to see a split-bumper Camaro so you'll definitely be invited to plenty with this one. From the deep chin spoiler up front to the full-width spoiler, the car looks fast from any angle... and you simply can't go wrong with black SS stripes. The black vinyl roof coordinates with this dark side while also given it an added premium flair. Nice body panels, newer headlights, and good rubber seals take care of the fundamentals. And the cowl hood, bright dual exhaust tips, and updated Rally wheels give this the best performance details. The black accents of the outside give you a preview of the full black interior. With black upholstery, matching carpets, and a set of very nice door panels, this Camaro has a very cohesive look that is inviting as well as functional. This is a driver-oriented layout with a high-back bucket seat and gauges that wraparound you. This was even born an A/C car (it will need a compressor and some work to fully return the function.) And they added terrific driver upgrades on top of this. Some are for comfort like the cup holder center console and the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner. Others are for pure performance, like the B&M shifter and the sports steering wheel mounted on a tilt column. Lift the hood, and you can tell it's no ordinary small block. This 350 cubic-inch V8 has the added shine and boldness of a solid investment. It includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and Hooker headers feeding an H-pipe dual exhaust. This extra-power powerhouse was even given an aluminum radiator to help keep it running cool. Look at the undercarriage pictures, and you'll see that there were even more investments in all-around driving performance, including tubular front A-arms and subframe connectors. Add in power steering, power brakes, and upgraded Wilwood front discs, and you have a Z-car tribute that lives up to its performance image. We have both the build receipts and a USB drive with restoration photos documenting this car's quality investments. Something this powerful and beautiful won't stay off the streets long.
